FRENCH GASTRONOMY AT HOME
During your French immersion stay, breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday through Friday.
Breakfast according to your preferences: croissants, pains au chocolat, toast with butter, jam, honey or chestnut cream, fruits, granola, homemade yogurts, juice, coffee or tea.
I personally like to cook healthy food with lots of fruits and vegetables from Provence: eggplant, zucchini, melons, tomatoes, asparagus, olives, strawberries - and use them in traditional French dishes like blanquette de veau, boeuf bourguignon, paupiettes, tian, soupe au pistou, magret de canard, coq au vin, etc.
This is why we may stroll the open-air markets in Avignon and Villeneuve-lèz-Avignon where I can buy fresh and local food directly from the producers.
If you have special diet requirements, I can also adapt and provide meals suited to your personal dietary needs.
For dinner, you are welcome to use the kitchen on your own, but there are plenty of places down the street for dining out.
