If you are now interested in taking a French immersion with Julie, you can now ckeck her availability, fill in this form with your details and prebook your stay. Be aware that reservations only open 12 months in advance.

The program includes :
​

  • 30 hours of French practice;

  • Accomodation in a 17th century Hôtel Particulier (mansion) with 2 large bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living room;

  • 2 meals a day, from Monday through Friday;

  • 2 excursions/activities during the week.

How can I prepare my stay?​

Julie also offers classes on Skype/Zoom before your stay, in order to get to know each other as teacher and student before the big adventure and start working on your French.

The price is 80 euros for each 55 minute lesson.

​

Starting price : The basic price for 1 week, which includes the accommodation, the French course, and the excursions for 1 student is € 2,800.

Additional student : The additional cost for an extra student is € 800.

Additional guest : The additional cost for an extra guest, including the accommodations and excursions is € 400.

If your dates are not available : You can still fill in the form with your requested dates or time frame. You will be put on a waiting list and Julie will contact you in case of a cancellation. In case of different dates/time frames, please specify them in the message you send to Julie.

You want to book more than 12 months ahead : Please fill in the form with your requested dates. Julie will put you on a waiting list and get back to you 12 months before your arrival date.

Anticipated arrival : You may consider arriving one day earlier in order to recover from jetlag and get prepared for your French immersion program. An extra fee of 130 euros will be charged at your arrival.
In case of a multiple-week-immersion stay, the Saturday night is free.

Arrival and departure times : Check In time is from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday and Self-Check Out time is before 12:000pm on Saturday. Julie will meet you at the train station on your arrival day. Please, make sure your train booking is to Avignon Centre and not Avignon TGV, which is 6km out of the city. Students are responsible for informing the correct arrival time at Avignon Centre train station.

How to get there : Access to Avignon is very easy by train from Paris or Marseilles.Coming from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, there are direct trains to Avignon Centre or Avignon TGV (travel time : 3 hours). If your train arrives at Avignon TGV, please make sure you book another train ticket to Avignon Centre (travel time : 5 minutes). Julie's apartment is 5 minutes walk away from Avignon Centre train station.You can find the ride times and buy the tickets here. Coming from the UK, there are also direct flights from London or Southampton to Avignon Airport. 

Pre-booking

  • A prebooking AND a down payment of thirty percent (30%) are required to secure your reservation.

  • Transfer of the outstanding balance (70%) must be paid at least 30 days before the day of arrival. 

  • Transfers from outside the UE must be done via Wise (formerly Transferwise).
